This 4part astrology series will focus on themes around stolen innocence, grief & loss, abandonment, & the reclamation of emotional power through surrender and acceptance of these trials & tribulations.
We will specifically be exploring the myths of:
~Persephone, Embodiment of Dark & Light, Goddess of the springtime & Queen of the Underworld-her abduction by Hades into the Underworld represents initiation into true power, wisdom, & self-governance that can accompany stolen innocence, if we chose to accept that our time in the darkness serves our soul purpose to later provide light.
~Isis, Goddess of Magic, Motherhood, & Regeneration represents initiation through grief & loss, teaching that even in the midst of our brokenness, our tears that accompany endings clear the way for the new, & water the soil for something sustainable. Isis shows we have the ability to collect our scattered pieces, choose alchemy, & to recreate life-this is initiation into self-mothering.
~Hekate, Queen of the Witches, Keeper of the crossroads & Guardian of the thresholds-she represents where we have seemingly been abandoned & the initiation that comes with trusting ourselves in the dark, being our own light, & then using our wisdom for discernment on guiding others.
~Pluto, aka Hades, predator to Persephone, similar to Osiris (Isis's dismembered husband) in that he's a ruler of Death, Lord of the Underworld where Hekate walks. Pluto is representative of the Initiation into our emotional wealth & Power that only comes with choosing to surrender to the knowing that dark times are foundational for initiation into deeper, more powerful parts of self.
All of these initiations require a crumbling, a relinquishment of control & power.
There is no stopping these life experiences that separate us into the 'Before & After', but we do get to choose whether we come out of these 'Hellish' portals & back into the Light.
